Writing DNA: your brand voice

What it is

Writing DNA teaches the AI how you write, not just what you are. While Brand Context stores the facts, Writing DNA stores the style — tone, first-person vs. plural voice, sentence length, recurring vocabulary, formality, use of questions and CTAs. The resulting profile is plain, editable text that is injected into every generation, so content comes out in your voice instead of a generic "AI voice". AISA was among the first to build this directly into an SEO plugin.

WordPress admin menu: AISA → Settings → Brand Context & Style, in the Writing DNA card at the bottom of the page.

Requirements & tier

Included as a core feature (no separate add-on). "Learn from the site" analyses your best content via an AI call (Cloud credits or your own key). Multiple profiles per content type or client may be offered as a Pro/Agency soft-upsell; the single profile is for everyone.

How to use

  1. Open Settings → Brand Context & Style and find the Writing DNA card.
  2. Press "Learn from the site" to analyse your strongest content, or paste 2-3 texts you love.
  3. Optionally paste your existing ChatGPT/Claude Custom Instructions to transfer your curated style in seconds.
  4. Review and edit the generated style profile — it is plain text.
  5. Save. The profile is used in all generations automatically.

Questions people ask

  • Can AISA read my ChatGPT memory? No — consumer Memory/Custom Instructions are not exposed by the APIs. You paste them in once, and AISA reuses them.
  • Where is the profile used? Across SEO generation, content fix/expansion, FAQ, llms.txt and more.
  • Does it cost extra? It is included; "Learn from the site" is one AI call.
  • Can I edit it? Yes, it is editable plain text stored as a setting.
  • How long can it be? The injected style block is capped (around 1600 characters) to keep prompts efficient.

Troubleshooting

If output still feels generic, make the profile more specific (banned words, signature phrases, voice). If "Learn from the site" returns little, paste sample texts manually. Leave the field empty to keep prompts exactly as before.
