Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of the WordPress plugin AI SEO & GEO Assistant (“the Plugin”, “the Software”) provided by Paolo Chiesa (sole proprietorship) — Ingenium Project, Via Campo Sportivo 3, 29010 Piozzano (PC), Italy, VAT IT01746710332 (“we”, “us”). By purchasing or using the Plugin you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of websites/domains included in your plan. The license is tied to an active subscription and includes updates and support while active.

2. Subscriptions & billing

Plans are sold as annual subscriptions and are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who acts as the seller of record and handles payment, invoicing, applicable taxes and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage, update or cancel your subscription from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (the link is in your purchase email). Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

3. Your API keys & third-party AI providers

In “bring your own key” plans the Plugin connects to the AI provider you choose (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Mistral) using your own API key. You are responsible for those accounts and their costs, and your use is subject to each provider’s terms. In Cloud plans, requests are processed through our servers using included credits. AI providers are independent third parties: their availability, pricing, models and output are outside our control.

4. AI-generated content, performance & results

AI disclaimer. The Plugin uses third-party artificial-intelligence models to generate SEO suggestions and content. The Plugin orchestrates and sends requests to those models — it does not itself produce the AI output. Generated content must be reviewed, verified and edited by you before publication.

Speed, accuracy and quality are not provided by the Plugin. The speed, accuracy, relevance, language fidelity and overall quality of generated content depend on factors outside the Plugin, in particular: (a) the AI provider and specific model you select; (b) the provider’s current availability, latency and rate limits; (c) the credit/quota and API limits of your account; and (d) the settings you configure in the Plugin (language, prompts, templates, brand context, options). Processing times also depend on your hosting/server resources. We make no representation or warranty as to generation speed, accuracy or content quality.

No guarantee of specific results. SEO and “GEO” (AI-search) outcomes ultimately depend on search engines and AI systems we do not own or control, so we cannot promise any specific ranking, indexing, traffic, citation or commercial result. When the Plugin is used correctly — with appropriate settings and by following the in-product guidance and good SEO practices — it is built to strengthen and improve your site’s SEO and AI visibility.

5. Backups, Bulk & One-Click operations

Bulk and One-Click features optimise and modify SEO data and, in some cases, page content across many items at once. These operations can change a large number of posts, pages or products in a single run.

You must back up your website before running them. Before any Bulk or One-Click operation it is your responsibility to take a full backup of your site (database and files) using your hosting/server backup tools or a backup plugin. We also strongly recommend using the Plugin’s built-in SEO Backup before large operations.

The Plugin’s internal backup covers the SEO fields it manages and lets you restore them; it is not a full-site backup and does not replace a server-level backup. You are solely responsible for creating and keeping your own backups. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, alteration or overwriting of data or content resulting from operations you choose to run, including Bulk and One-Click.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the Software, and not to use it for unlawful purposes or to generate deceptive, spam or “scaled” content in violation of search-engine guidelines.

7. Intellectual property

The Plugin and its code (excluding the GPL-licensed portions) remain our property. The PHP code is released under the GPL where required by the WordPress ecosystem.

8. Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme, plugin, hosting environment or third-party service, or that third-party services (AI providers, search engines, payment provider) will remain available or unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data or content, arising from the use of or inability to use the Plugin. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a license in case of breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Plugin and cancel your subscription at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence continue to apply.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is always published on this page, with the “last updated” date below.
