LocalBusiness schema and data sync

What it is

Once your Google Business Profile is connected, AISA emits a LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema on your home page using the verified Google data: name, address, phone, geo coordinates, and aggregate rating, plus your social profiles as sameAs. The same data also feeds the Local Business Info section of your llms.txt. A two-phase sync lets you preview exactly what changes before applying it.

Where to find it

WordPress admin menu: AISA → Local SEO (Google). The two toggles "Include data in LLM.txt" and "Generate schema.org LocalBusiness (front page)" control the output.

Requirements & tier

Requires a connected business (Places API key, Level 1). The schema is emitted only on the front page and only when the schema toggle is on. AISA coordinates with your SEO plugin to avoid a duplicate organization/LocalBusiness node.

How to use

  1. Connect your business on the Local SEO page.
  2. Enable "Generate schema.org LocalBusiness (front page)" and/or "Include data in LLM.txt".
  3. Choose a sync frequency (weekly, monthly, or off).
  4. Press Sync now to fetch fresh Google data; review the "current vs. new" comparison table.
  5. Press ✓ Apply update to save the changes.

Questions people ask

  • Does it duplicate my SEO plugin's schema? No — it emits a single LocalBusiness node; AISA's standalone logic accounts for it.
  • What fields are in the schema? Name, address, URL, telephone, geo coordinates, aggregate rating, and social profiles (sameAs).
  • Where does the schema appear? On the front page only.
  • Can I see changes before applying? Yes — "Sync now" shows a comparison table; nothing is saved until you apply.
  • Why is my rating not updating? Run "Sync now"; data refreshes on your chosen schedule otherwise.

Troubleshooting

If the schema is missing, confirm the business is connected, the schema toggle is on, and you are viewing the front page. If data looks outdated, edit it on Google then "Sync now" and apply. The Places API exposes at most 5 featured reviews; full reviews require Level 2 (OAuth).
