The GEO llms.txt manager

What it is

The GEO llms.txt manager builds and publishes a single /llms.txt file: a clean, AI-friendly summary of your site that AI engines (Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, Google AI) can read. AISA aggregates your Brand Context, the AI Search Context of selected pages, your Q&A/FAQ sets, and Local Business Info from Google Business Profile into one document. The file is served automatically at /llms.txt and referenced in robots.txt, so it is online the moment you save.

Where to find it

WordPress admin menu: AISA → Settings → GEO LLMS.txt tab. The file itself is publicly reachable at https://yoursite.com/llms.txt.

Requirements & tier

Works with any AI provider access mode (Cloud credits or your own API keys). The base llms.txt manager is part of AISA's GEO feature set. Pages only appear in the list once they have an AI Search Context generated. No external SEO plugin is required.

How to use

  1. Open AISA → Settings → GEO LLMS.txt.
  2. Review the auto-generated document (Brand Context, page contexts, FAQ, Local Business Info). Edit the text freely if you want.
  3. Scroll to the page list at the bottom: each page with an AI Search Context has a checkbox. Leave checked only the pages you want included.
  4. Press "Save selection and rebuild". The file updates instantly.
  5. New pages that get an AI Search Context are added automatically.

Questions people ask

  • Should I include every page? No. A focused llms.txt with a few authoritative pages is more effective than a bloated one.
  • Does Google use llms.txt? No. Google states it does not use it for AI Overviews/AI Mode. It is an emerging standard read by other AI crawlers (Anthropic, Perplexity, OpenAI).
  • Will my manual edits survive a rebuild? The FAQ section is re-synced from your Q&A sets, but the rest of your manual edits are preserved.
  • Do I have to upload a file by hand? No, AISA serves it dynamically at /llms.txt and references it in robots.txt.
  • How do new FAQ sets reach it? When you save, trash or restore a Q&A set, the ## FAQ section of the saved llms.txt is re-synced automatically.

Troubleshooting

If a page is missing from the list, generate its AI Search Context first (panel, One-Click, or the box under the editor). If the public file looks stale, re-open the tab and press "Save selection and rebuild". If FAQ entries are wrong, edit the relevant Q&A set: the FAQ section re-syncs on save.
