Generate the SEO title and title variants

What it is

AISA generates the SEO title with AI and can also produce title variants — alternative phrasings of the same title. The generated title places the focus keyphrase near the start, respects the recommended length (about 60 characters), and can mix in dynamic variables (such as the site name) via pills. The title field is a rich, editable field where pills sit as coloured chips; the live Google preview and the length meter update as you edit.

Where to find it

In the Standalone SEO block the SEO title field has variable pills underneath plus buttons ✨ Variants and ↻ Regenerate. With Extended SEO active there is also a per-field language selector and an ➕ Add to rotations button to push a variant into SEO Rotation. In the floating panel, the title is produced by Generate SEO and written into your SEO plugin (live for Yoast/SEOPress, after reload for Rank Math/AIOSEO).

Requirements & tier

  • An AI provider (Cloud credits or your own key).
  • The post type enabled in Settings → Post Type.
  • Brand Context business description (AI generation is blocked without it).
  • Adding variants to rotation requires Extended SEO; SEO Rotation builds on it.

How to use

  1. Generate or set the focus keyphrase first, so the title can include it.
  2. Press ↻ Regenerate to create a fresh SEO title, or generate everything at once from the floating panel.
  3. Press ✨ Variants to get alternative titles; click one to use it.
  4. Insert variable pills (site name, separator, year…) where you want dynamic values.
  5. Watch the length meter (aim green, ~60 chars) and the live preview.
  6. With Extended SEO, optionally pick a variant language and press ➕ Add to rotations.
  7. Apply the title; with Yoast/SEOPress it updates live, with Rank Math/AIOSEO save and reload.

Questions people ask

  • What's the difference between Variants and Add to rotations? Variants just offer alternative titles to pick now; Add to rotations stores extra variants that SEO Rotation serves over time.
  • Does the title include my keyphrase? Yes — the focus keyphrase is placed near the start of the title, verbatim.
  • How long should the title be? Around 60 characters; the meter turns green when you're within range.
  • Can I keep my SEO plugin's native variables? Yes — where the plugin has native variables (e.g. %%sitename%%) AISA writes those, so renaming the site updates titles automatically.
  • Can variants be in another language? With Extended SEO, the per-field language selector lets you add variants in different languages for rotation.

Troubleshooting

  • Title too long. Regenerate or trim; a long variable pill can be the cause — the preview shows the real rendered length.
  • Generation blocked. Fill the Brand Context business description.
  • Add to rotations missing. Enable Extended SEO; rotation depends on it.
  • Title not live in Rank Math. Title/meta are updated live via Rank Math's snippet, but if you don't see it, save and reload.
