Focus keyphrase is too long
Symptom
Your SEO plugin flags the focus keyphrase as too long, or the keyphrase no longer fits cleanly inside the SEO title (≤60 characters) and meta description, weakening the on-page score.
Cause
A long, sentence-like keyphrase is hard to place verbatim near the start of the title and in the first sentence of the meta description while staying within the length limits. AISA's SEO baseline expects the exact keyphrase in the title, meta and slug, so an overly long phrase fights those rules.
Fix
Use a short, focused keyphrase — a few words, not a sentence. With Auto SEO Fix, AISA can generate the keyphrase when one is missing and then regenerate the title and meta with that exact phrase placed correctly (title near the start, meta in the first sentence), respecting the length limits (title ≤60, meta ≤155). If you typed your own long phrase, shorten it to the core term and regenerate; the slug will follow the same phrase. Avoid keyword stuffing — repeating it does not help.
Questions people ask
What's a good keyphrase length? Two to four words that match what people actually search. AISA places that exact phrase in the title, meta and URL.
Can AISA pick the keyphrase for me? Yes — Auto SEO Fix generates one if missing and aligns title/meta/slug to it verbatim.
