Choosing provider and template for a run

What it is

Before running a Bulk (or 1-Click) generation you can choose which AI provider does the work and which SEO Schema Template shapes the titles. The provider selector controls the model; the template selector controls the structure of the generated titles per content type.

Where to find it

Both selectors sit in the action bar of AISA → Bulk SEO & GEO (and in the options block of AISA → 1-Click SEO), next to the action and the Run button.

Requirements & tier

Mass generation is Premium / Cloud. The provider selector appears only when you use your own API keys (BYOK): you can pick Auto or a specific provider (Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral). In Cloud (credits) the provider is chosen automatically by the server and the selector is replaced by a note plus an upgrade link for those who want to choose. The template selector requires the SEO Schema Template feature.

How to use

  1. Open the action bar and locate the Provider dropdown (BYOK only).
  2. Leave it on Auto (API key preference) to use your default key, or pick a specific provider to force it for this run.
  3. Locate the Template dropdown. Leave it on Auto (per content type) to use the template assigned to each content type, or pick a specific template to force it on every item in this run.
  4. If you force a template, a warning reminds you that the per-type assignment is ignored for this execution.
  5. (Extended SEO) Optionally set the number of rotation Variants for title/description.
  6. Press Run.

Questions people ask

  • Which provider should I pick for large sites? DeepSeek is the cheapest for text and has generous limits; pick it when optimising thousands of pages.
  • Why can't I see a provider menu? You are in Cloud mode, where the server routes to the most convenient/fastest provider automatically.
  • What does "Auto" template mean? AISA applies the SEO Schema Template assigned to each content type (e.g. products get the e-commerce schema).
  • Does forcing a template override per-type rules? Yes — a forced template applies to every item in the run and ignores the per-type assignment.
  • Can I change provider per run? Yes, the choice is per execution; it does not change your default key.
  • Do providers without Vision work for images? No — DeepSeek and Mistral have no Vision, so image alt-text needs Claude/GPT/Gemini.

Troubleshooting

If a chosen provider fails, confirm its API key is set and tested in Settings → API Keys. If titles don't follow the structure you expect, check whether a template is forced (warning shown) or whether Auto is mapping a different template to that content type. In Cloud, provider errors are handled server-side; if generation stalls, wait for the auto-tuning to retry.
