Activate your license and get updates

What it is

Activating a license unlocks Premium — full-site 1-Click SEO, unlimited Bulk, category and tag optimization, Extended SEO & Rotation, GEO LLMS.txt and more — until the license expires. The license also gates plugin updates: with a valid license, AISA updates itself from GitHub Releases, just like a normal WordPress plugin update. Without a license, AISA keeps running as Free with limits (premium features can be tried on 25% of content).

Where to find it

AI SEO & GEO → License to paste and activate a key; it's also step 5 of the setup wizard. Updates appear in the usual WordPress Plugins / Updates screen once a license is active.

Requirements & tier

You need a license key (format AISA1.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx), purchased through LemonSqueezy. Keys are tier-aware (Premium/PRO or Cloud) and domain-bound, with an expiry. A Cloud key also switches usage counting to credits. The auto-updater pulls from GitHub Releases; it is the delivery (premium) package — the WordPress.org Free build has no updater.

How to use

  1. Buy a license; you receive a key in the format AISA1.xxxx.xxxx.
  2. Go to AI SEO & GEO → License, paste the key, and click Activate license.
  3. The page shows status, expiry, days remaining and the domains the key is valid for.
  4. Once active, Premium features unlock and plugin updates flow in through the normal WordPress update screen.
  5. Renew before expiry to keep Premium and updates; if it lapses, the plugin reverts to Free (limits apply).

Questions people ask

  • What does a license unlock? Premium — full-site One-Click, unlimited Bulk, categories/tags, Rotation, GEO LLMS.txt, and updates — until expiry.
  • How do I get updates? With a valid license, AISA auto-updates from GitHub Releases and shows the update in the standard WordPress Plugins screen.
  • What happens when the license expires? The plugin keeps working as Free with limits; you can re-activate by renewing.
  • Is the key tied to my domain? Yes — keys are domain-bound and the License page lists the domains a key covers; tiers allow 1 to 30 domains.
  • Can I activate a trial key? Yes — time-limited trial keys activate the same way; the page shows the remaining days.
  • Why doesn't the Free (WordPress.org) build auto-update from GitHub? The .org build ships without the updater; updates there come from WordPress.org itself.

Troubleshooting

Key won't activate / “invalid” → confirm the full AISA1.xxxx.xxxx key isn't truncated and that the domain matches the key's allowed domains; the License page shows the secret Signature for diagnosis.
Premium features still locked after activating → reload; verify status shows active and not expired.
No update offered → ensure the license is valid (updater is gated by it) and that you're on the delivery build, not the .org Free build.
Need to move to a new domain → check your tier's domain count and the domains listed on the License page.
