Brand Context

What it is

Brand Context is the set of facts about your business — sector, business description, USP, target audience, vision, mission, values, brand keywords — that guides every AI generation in AISA: SEO titles and descriptions, Q&A, AI Search Context, and more. It tells the AI what you are, so the text it writes is tailored to your business rather than generic. Without the business description, AI generation is blocked — it is what makes the output bespoke.

Where to find it

WordPress admin menu: AISA → Settings → Brand Context & Style. It can also be pre-filled from Google data on the Local SEO page.

Requirements & tier

Available in all tiers; required for generation. The Local SEO page can pre-fill empty fields from your connected Google Business Profile (category, business description, geographic market) without overwriting anything you wrote.

How to use

  1. Open Settings → Brand Context & Style (or run the setup wizard on first activation).
  2. Fill in at least the sector and business description; add USP, audience, vision, mission, values and brand keywords for richer results.
  3. Optionally, on the Local SEO page press "Pre-fill from Google (empty fields only)".
  4. Scroll to Writing DNA at the bottom to teach the AI your voice.
  5. Save. Every subsequent AI generation uses these facts.

Questions people ask

  • Why is generation blocked? The business description is missing — it is mandatory so output is on-brand.
  • Is Brand Context the same as Writing DNA? No. Brand Context stores the facts; Writing DNA stores the style.
  • Does it affect Local SEO? Yes — complete fields make local SEO consistent with your Google listing, and feed llms.txt.
  • Can Google data fill it in? Yes, empty fields only; your own text is never overwritten.
  • Are array fields (values, keywords) handled? Yes, multi-line values are joined cleanly when used in prompts.

Troubleshooting

If AI buttons are disabled, fill the business description. If pre-fill reports nothing to do, the Google-equivalent fields are already populated; the rest (USP, vision, mission) are written manually. If local results ignore your city, set the geographic market field.
