Per-language term SEO

What it is

On multilingual sites (WPML / Polylang), each translated term is its own term with its own SEO. AISA writes term SEO in the language of the term, so a category's title and meta are generated in the language it belongs to — not the brand language. The generation context uses the term's actual name and description, and the AI is told to ignore the brand language so the output matches the term's language.

Where to find it

Edit a term in any language (the term Edit form shows the AISA block in standalone mode). A single 1-Click SEO run also covers categories, tags and product attributes across all languages, each in its own language.

Requirements & tier

Requires a multilingual plugin (WPML or Polylang) for per-language terms. The term SEO block follows the same standalone/integration rules as regular term SEO. AI generation needs a provider or Cloud credits.

How to use

  1. Enable the relevant taxonomies in Settings → Post Type.
  2. Edit the translated term (in its language).
  3. Generate or write the keyphrase/title/meta — output is in the term's language.
  4. Or run 1-Click SEO once: it covers all languages, each term in its own language.
  5. Save; the archive serves the localized title/meta in standalone.

Questions people ask

  • Does one 1-Click run cover all languages? Yes — including categories, tags and product attributes per language.
  • What language is a term's SEO written in? The term's own language, not the brand language.
  • Does it mix languages? No — the context is the term's real name/description and the AI ignores the brand language.
  • Which plugins are supported? WPML and Polylang.
  • Are DNT names still protected? Yes — Translation Fidelity applies to term generation too.

Troubleshooting

If a term's SEO comes out in the wrong language, check that the term is genuinely the translated term (not the source) and that your multilingual plugin is active and detected. For product/brand names that should never translate, add them to the DNT list.
