Product-images filter and the Images column

What it is

In Bulk SEO you can narrow the image list to product images only, and when listing products you get an Images column showing how many of a product's images already have alt-text out of the total (featured + gallery + attached). It lets you spot products with missing image alt at a glance and process just those.

Where to find it

AISA → Bulk SEO. The Images tab has a "product images only" toggle (combinable with the "missing alt" filter as an AND). When the product post type is shown, the table includes the Images column.

Requirements & tier

Requires WooCommerce for the product-image scope and the Images column. Generating the alt-text needs an image provider (Vision-capable for the "sees the image" path). Works in BYO-key and Cloud.

How to use

  1. Open Bulk SEO and go to the Images tab.
  2. Toggle product images only to restrict the list to catalog images.
  3. Optionally keep the "missing alt" filter on to combine both conditions.
  4. When viewing products, read the Images column (with alt / total).
  5. Select the items and run the alt-text action; or tick "product images too" when regenerating a product to queue its images.

Questions people ask

  • Which images count for a product? Featured image, gallery images and attached images.
  • Does the product filter combine with the alt filter? Yes — they apply together (AND).
  • What does the Images column show? Images with alt-text versus the total for that product.
  • Can I queue a product's images while regenerating it? Yes — tick "product images too" and they are added as separate queued items.
  • Do I need WooCommerce? Yes for the product scope and column; the general image tab works without it.

Troubleshooting

If the product filter returns nothing, there may be no published products with images yet. If the Images column count looks low, remember it counts featured + gallery + attached — images placed only inline are handled by the content alt path.
