WooCommerce value pills on products

What it is

On WooCommerce products, AISA adds a row of green WooCommerce pills in the floating panel that insert the product's real data as text into the SEO title or meta description: the product Category, its attributes (e.g. colour, material), the Price and the SKU. Unlike the purple variable pills, these are not %%tokens%% — they insert the actual value as text (Yoast's base set has no WooCommerce variables), in the product's own language when WPML is active. Each pill is inserted and deleted as a single chip.

The pills stay consistent with your product's SEO template: if an attribute in the template is set to "Show name" (with label), the pill proposes "Label: Value", exactly as the template assembly does.

Where to find it

Open a product in the editor with the floating panel active (integration mode, supported SEO plugin). The green WooCommerce pills appear in the panel alongside the title/description fields, populated from the product's real Category, attributes, Price and SKU.

Requirements & tier

  • WooCommerce active and the content is a product.
  • The floating panel must be available: integration mode with a supported SEO plugin, and the product post type enabled.
  • Pills only show for data the product actually has (no SKU set → no SKU pill, etc.).
  • With WPML, the category/attribute values are taken in the product's language.

How to use

  1. Open the product and bring up the AISA floating panel.
  2. Click into the SEO title or meta description.
  3. Click a green WooCommerce pill (Category, an attribute, Price, SKU) to insert its real value as text.
  4. Combine with the AI Generate to weave the value into a natural title/description.
  5. Apply the field to your SEO plugin.

Questions people ask

  • Are these the same as the purple pills? No. Purple pills insert dynamic %%tokens%%; green WooCommerce pills insert the product's real Category/Attribute/Price/SKU as plain text.
  • Why text instead of a token? Yoast's base variable set has no WooCommerce variables, so AISA inserts the actual product value as text.
  • Does it follow my product template? Yes — if a template attribute uses "Show name", the pill proposes "Label: Value" to stay consistent with assembly.
  • Will it work in my product's language? Yes — with WPML the category and attribute values are pulled in the product's language.
  • What if a product has no SKU or attributes? Pills only appear for data that exists; missing data simply has no pill.

Troubleshooting

  • No green pills on the product. Confirm WooCommerce is active, the content is a product, and the floating panel is available (integration mode + product post type enabled).
  • A specific value is missing. That field is empty on the product (e.g. no SKU); set it on the product to get the pill.
  • Price pill shows odd formatting. The price is taken from the product and formatted via WooCommerce's price function; check the product price and currency settings.
