The Dashboard and SEO Health score

What it is

The Dashboard is AISA's home screen. At the top sits the SEO Health hero: four donut scores — SEO Score (title + meta + keyphrase coverage), GEO Score (AI Context coverage), Images (alt-text coverage) and overall Optimization — each with a trend sparkline, plus per-field coverage bars and a “from install until today” journey with a delta in points. Below it are a Configuration checklist, a Contents stats card, the credit bar (Cloud), and the Features section where you toggle modules on and off.

Where to find it

WordPress admin → AI SEO & GEO → Dashboard (the first menu item).

Requirements & tier

Admin access. The Health score is computed locally from your content — no connection to Google is needed. Title/description stats require an active SEO plugin (or standalone) to be populated. Premium feature cards (Extended SEO & Rotation, GEO LLMS.txt, Bulk SEO & GEO) are marked with a Premium badge; on Free they can be tried on 25% of content.

How to use

  1. Open the Dashboard and read the four SEO Health donuts: green (≥90), orange (50–89), red (<50), each labeled (Excellent / Very good / Good / Needs improvement / Critical).
  2. Use the per-field coverage bars to see exactly which fields are missing (keyphrase, SEO title, meta description, AI Context, image alt) and how many of N posts have them.
  3. Check the Configuration card: AI provider configured, SEO plugin status, Brand Context filled — fix anything with a missing checkmark.
  4. Use the Contents card to jump to Bulk SEO & GEO for items that are missing fields.
  5. In the Features section, toggle modules; toggles auto-save and the page reloads. Disabled modules are not loaded at all.

Questions people ask

  • How is the SEO Health score calculated? From real coverage of your published content per field, averaged into the four scores. It is computed locally (cached ~1 hour) — no Google connection.
  • Why does a score show “—” instead of a number? That field isn't managed by the active adapter (e.g. no SEO plugin for title/description), so it is shown as n/a.
  • Does the score update live during a bulk run? Yes — the bars update via polling, and the cache is busted whenever a relevant SEO/alt meta changes.
  • What is the “from install until today” line? A baseline captured at install vs today's overall score, with the gain in points — it grows as you optimize.
  • Why are some feature toggles greyed out? They have an unmet dependency (e.g. SEO Rotation needs Extended SEO) or require an active SEO plugin; enable the prerequisite first.

Troubleshooting

Title/description bars show n/a → no SEO plugin is active and you are not in standalone; those stats need an adapter.
Score didn't change after optimizing → the cache refreshes on meta changes and hourly; reload the Dashboard.
A Premium card is locked → it is a Premium module; try it on 25% of content or activate a license.
Feature toggle won't enable → satisfy its requirement first (dependency or active SEO plugin).
